Here’s what’s coming up at Skills Matter this week!
The London Open Tech School will be making their first appearance at Skills Matter with their first part introduction website making, teaching HTML & CSS. With no previous experience necessary the group will be running through the basic building blocks required to kick-start your site. By the end of the second session you will have left with your very own personal portfolio website.
London Storm are back with a hands-on session devoted to the core concepts in Trident, the DSL language of Storm. By the end you will have gained a greater understanding of Trident and seen a Trident topology developer from scratch and run in a production environment. You couldn’t really ask for much more!
If you are interested in Quantum Computing and Spherical geometry algorithms, then the Big-O User Group is the place to start. They are hosting two speakers, Jason Davies and Anish Mohammed, both with tonnes of experience which they are ready and willing to share. Sign up but remember this event starts at 6pm to ensure everything is covered.
Another hands-on this week, but delivered by the The WebGL User Group who will be taking a closer look at some three.js features. Make sure you catch where things are heading and maybe a peek at some alternatives.
You can view all upcoming user groups and meetups on the Skills Matter website here. All events are free, but spaces are limited, so please be sure to register to avoid disappointment!
